The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), operating under the Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan, has officially announced a significant recruitment drive for the year 2025, offering contract-based employment opportunities for the position of Intelligence Officer across multiple regions of the country.

This recruitment initiative is being conducted under the provisions of Regulations 9, 10, and 11 of the NADRA Employees (Service) Regulations, 2002, and is part of NADRA’s strategic efforts to enhance its intelligence and operational monitoring framework at both provincial and district levels.

These Intelligence Officer positions are critical for maintaining NADRA’s operational integrity, ensuring secure data handling, monitoring field activities, and contributing to the organization’s broader national security and service delivery goals.

The opportunity is open to both male and female candidates, although specific field assignments may be limited to male applicants due to the nature of duties involved. A strong preference will be given to retired officers from Pakistan’s Armed Forces, Police, and Intelligence Agencies—including but not limited to the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Intelligence Bureau (IB), Military Intelligence (MI), and other security institutions. Candidates with a verified track record in intelligence, surveillance, and national security operations are especially encouraged to apply.

Applicants must possess a Matriculation-level education and must have successfully completed an approved Intelligence Course from any of the following institutions:

• School of Military Intelligence (SMI)

• Defence Services Intelligence/National Intelligence Academy (DSI/NIA)

• Naval Intelligence School (SOI)

• IB Academy

Female candidates with verifiable experience in intelligence units or national security setups may also be considered, especially for non-field or administrative intelligence roles.

All appointments will be made on an initial five (05) year contractual basis, which may be extended depending on performance, discipline, and departmental requirements. This contract-based model offers flexibility, structured deployment, and performance-based retention, aligning with NADRA’s evolving needs in national data protection and operational security.

Candidates are expected to demonstrate discipline, discretion, strong regional language skills, and professional ethics, and must be willing to serve in their respective or assigned regions. The age limit includes a 5-year general relaxation, and retired JCOs/NCOs or officers up to the age of 45 are encouraged to apply.
