The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), under the Government of Pakistan, has announced a significant nationwide recruitment drive for the year 2025 to fill 1,560 positions of Sepoy (BPS-05) in its Customs Department. This large-scale hiring aims to enhance enforcement operations, streamline revenue collection, and strengthen customs control across multiple regions in Pakistan including Quetta, Gaddani, and the Indus belt.

FBR is seeking applications from physically fit, disciplined, and dedicated individuals with at least a Matric qualification, who are eager to serve in a uniformed enforcement role. The Sepoy position is contractual in nature but may be extended based on performance and department needs. The recruitment process is open to both male and female candidates, with specific quotas allocated for women, minorities, and district-based merit.

The announced vacancies are distributed as follows:

• Quetta Region – 220 Posts

• Gaddani Region – 140 Posts

• Indus Region (Multiple Districts across KP, Punjab, Sindh, GB & Balochistan) – 1200 Posts

Candidates must meet the following physical and age requirements:

• Male: Minimum height 5’6″, chest 32″-33.5″

• Female: Minimum height 5’2″

• Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (including a 5-year general age relaxation)

Applicants must be domiciled in the region/district of the advertised vacancy, as local quota enforcement will be strictly applied. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a physical test, which may include running, push-ups, lifting, and endurance assessments.
