The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), one of the largest and most reputable financial institutions in the country, has announced a strategic recruitment drive for the year 2025. As part of its Alternate Islamic Banking Division, NBP is offering contract-based employment opportunities across multiple regions for a range of operational positions in alignment with its mission to deliver innovative, inclusive, and Shariah-compliant banking solutions nationwide.

This recruitment initiative is in line with the Bank’s vision of strengthening its nationwide branch network, enhancing operational efficiency, and providing top-tier Islamic financial services while supporting national economic development.

Positions are available for both entry-level and experienced banking professionals, with a special focus on branch-level operational and customer service roles. NBP is seeking individuals who demonstrate professional excellence, customer-first thinking, and compliance with banking and regulatory practices.

The following positions have been announced:

• Branch Operations Manager (OG-II / OG-I) – Based in Attock, requiring at least 10 years of banking experience with a strong background in operational management and Islamic banking practices.

• Branch Operations Officer (OG-III / OG-II) – Based in Faisalabad, requiring 3+ years of experience in branch operations, particularly in managing KYC/AML compliance, account opening, customer handling, and back-office coordination.

• Teller (OG-III) – Multiple vacancies across Hangu, Haripur, Ziarat, Sibi, and District Vehari, requiring at least 1 year of relevant branch-level cash handling and customer-facing experience.

• Banking Officer – Female (OG-III) – Based in Peshawar, dedicated to promoting gender inclusion in financial services, this role requires at least 1 year of banking experience and strong communication and operational handling skills.

All candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree from a HEC-recognized local or international university, preferably with a Master’s degree, Islamic Banking certification, or Diploma in banking. Candidates must also possess solid knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations, General Banking Operations, and be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Appointments will be made on a 3-year contractual basis, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and organizational needs. All positions require adherence to operational guidelines, regulatory compliance, and efficient service delivery.
